NEW WORKS FOR V22 COLLECTION

V22 is pleased to announce another exhibition of new works for the V22 Contemporary Art Collection.

V22 is a contemporary art organisation which includes a permanent collection, an independent gallery space and artist studio and project spaces. The V22 Collection is a body of contemporary art which grows on the recommendations of a variety of art experts and its core artist ownership base. Shares are traded on Plus Markets, and the artists are very involved in controlling the future direction of V22.

We believe that V22 offers artists a unique opportunity to be involved directly in the market for their own work and that of their contemporaries and to own a stake, and a voice, in the future of contemporary art. In addition we offer ordinary people an opportunity to own a stake in a large, expertly managed and chosen art collection.

INTERNATIONAL WORKS

In our ongoing endeavours to make the collection more international, a series of works have been negotiated for purchase by German artist Georg Baselitz – currently there is a large retrospective of his work showing at the Royal Academy. Also from Germany are Artists Anonymous – a Berlin based group represented in a number of large collections worldwide – including the Saatchi and Deutsche Bank collections. From America we have the work of Carroll Dunham and Steven Gontarski. Other new artists for the collection are mostly London based and range from emerging young artists to established names.
